Sacha Sayan is an interactive creative developer, designer, and director as well as an urban adventurer, obsessed autodidact, self-professed grammar nazi, and avid beer drinker. Debating linguistic pragmatism over pints of IPA is his kind of Sunday afternoon.

A fascination with how technology has the potential to improve the human condition (and how we can better interact with it) drives his passion to make a better web.

He often tweets on twitter, gets lost on reddit, and posts his dreams to dribbble.

He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, but hails from Montreal, and has lived as far as Wichita, Kansas. Ask him about that one time he got caught in a tornado.

With a strong development background and enthusiasm for keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies, Sacha combines a working knowledge of web standards, architecture, and optimization with an aesthetic eye.

Experience in industry-standard creative suite software includes Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver (although he prefers to code by hand).

Hyundai Elantra: Snap Out of It
Client: Innocean USA
Role: Developer / Animator

"I developed and animated this series of online ads for Hyundai's Elantra. The contingent included over a dozen regular and non-regular standard ads and site-specific expandable banners."

"With such a large package, a primary focus on this project was keeping to deadline. The final product was delivered on-time to a happy client."

Drowning on the Inside
Client: Cystic Fibrosis Canada
Role: Lead Developer

"Work for this project involved the development of the site for CF Canada's "Drowning on the Inside" campaign. Special features included Facebook connectivity and an interactive multi-timeline video where the user's decisions influence how the story gets told."

Netflix iPad App
Client: Personal Project
Role: UX/UI Designer / Developer

This personal project is my attempt to add a much needed refresh to the iPad app for well-known video streaming service Netflix.

All design and development (using HTML5, AJAX, and PHP) is being done by me.

Toyota Yaris ZR Banners
Client: Dentsu Australia
Role: Designer / Developer

Working across time zones was a challenge for this project, a set of ads for Toyota's Yaris in Australia. The final product included three standard banners and two expandable ads in multiple formats.
